Danny, Ring Road Rider

Character Name: Danny
Age: 19
Appearance: Danny has mixed tone skin from having a black father and a white skinned Italian mother. His hair is messy and black in colour, semi-curly as it reaches down to his earlobes, covering his forehead. He has slightly thick eyebrows and narrowed eyes with grey irises. He has a pair of large white wireless headphones which he wears either around his neck or over his ears when he is listening to music.

He wears a low cut sleeveless black shirt on his upper body which reaches just beneath his chest in length and has musical notes patterned all over it. Over top he wears a red plaid hoodie with a grey hood on it, a non-zip up hoodie at that which reaches down 1/3 along his thighs in length. Around his shoulders he has a strap for his guitar case, which is the soft kind, not the hard kind. Inside he has a guitar which is fashioned from AT parts (much like Canon's from Air Gear) which can be used in battle.

Over his lower body he wears fitted black jeans. He has black converse over his feet when he's not wearnig his ATs; His actual ATs are black in colour with white musical notes covering it and grey-silver wheels.

History: Danny was born in a poor home in rural Italy with both his paernts. However, a few months after being born, his father left his mother, even though they weren't married. Danny grew up as the man of the house, doing most of the manual labour while his mother tried saving up for Danny to go make a life for himself, secretly.

As Danny grew older to his pre-teen years, his mother had manage to, through various means, save up money for him to go to Japan to study, as he had relatives there, apparently. Danny reluctantly went, and not long after, the loan sharks came to his mother's house and seized whatever small amount of assets she had left and killed her.

Danny stayed with his cousins in Sapporo, Japan, while studying in school and helping out with the majority of house work to earn his stay. It was here where he picked up guitar, and showed a knack for rhythm, beat, timing and other various skills relating to sound and music. It was when he was 15 that he discovered ATs, as his cousins got some with their job money. At the moment, Danny couldn't afford to buy his own, so he got a job himself to earn some money to buy a pair.

When Danny turned 16, the loan sharks had finally caught up with him, and told him he had a year to make up for the remaining cash his mother had failed to pay back. Danny, angered, told them he'd get the money, however schemed to get a pair of ATs and take out the loan sharks.

Danny worked for 3/4 a year and finally managed to buy a pair of ATs, along with some extra parts. His cousins, hearing his dilimma, decided it'd be fun to watch their little cousin try and take out dangerous people using ATs, and gave him af ew of their spare parts as well. Having only 3 months to practice and get good with his ATs, Danny worked long and hard to hone his skills.

During this time period, he had discovered something different about himself, that there were sounds he could hear that everyone else around him seemed to be oblivious about, but didn't understand why.

When the loan sharks came back, Danny, while teaming up with his cousins, managed to drive them away, but were left with a threat that they'd be back one day. After the violent events, Danny and his cousins formed a small ghetto AT team just for the fun of it while they continued school and their jobs.

As time passed, Danny's ability for hearing certain biorhythms within humans and hearing specific tunes within ATs increased, and using these sounds and money he had earned, managed to fashion an old guitar into a special AT-guitar he could use to manipulate sound waves. Once graduating from high school, members from an AT team known as Tool Toul To told him about his "destiny" as a tuner, those who run the Ring Road that link storm rider's and AT's together and whom are destined to serve the "King's" of the AT world, something which Danny had been hearing about a lot lately.
Personality: Danny is a very calm but energetic individual. Many of his friends and family found it difficult to read him, as he's always appeared calm or tired, even thinking that he finds them boring. However, he does "feel" and is not some stoic wanna-be cool person, but is merely too calm to express excitement. However, as contradicting as others found it, he does love to laugh and smile, and tends to laugh at anything, even people getting mad, which is where his energetic side shows.

Danny is a very loyal person, however only if he himself is getting anything out of the deal. He can be very selfish in this manner, and has often been declared a jer, or a dick, by others if he refused to help them with anything, even if it's a small favour.

Danny finds his calm atmosphere from his music, which he claims runs his life. Depending on his mood, he will play corersponding music to mellow him out into a peaceful state, or music of the opposite genre, to try and either pump up his mood or tone it down.

Danny finds himself not important enough to be a true leader of any sorts, but will taek the initiative when the time comes for it and no one else stands up. However, in the end, he always recognizes himself as a tool to serve and help someone else, which has brought his interest into the AT group, Tool Toul To.
