Vulnerable(Any can join? o-o;;)

The wind was cold and the night was peculiar. Smooth wheels ran along the pavement of the rough, solid ground. This boy that was riding along on his ATs had yet to learn any basic tricks. He had basically just been riding along to his own, nobody to even speak to as he practiced. It was a secret hobby of some sort.

He was going at a moderate speed. It wasn't anything special, nor anything along the lines of being horrible. He was, after all, still an amateur at riding on ATs. After a small amount of time, he sighed. His breath was visible, yet translucent. The visible oxygen immediately began to dissipate after a few seconds. As if speaking to a person, he mumbled. "I should start getting fast.."

Curiosity was known to kill the cat. Just what was known to kill curiosity? That was question was always welled up within his mind.

Black hair swayed slightly with the wind, and the pale skin that belonged to Junichi was obviously visible; even in the night. The ATs he wore were not a variety of colors. They were merely black and white with a hint of gray. The wheels were a pure white.

A shiver ran down Junichi's spine. This man was ambiguous. It was obvious that he was keeping it that way just from the way he had talked, and the way he had shown himself just seconds before. Still, questions surfaced into his mind just from the mere facts that left the man's mouth. "Hand-tune..? Professional tuner...?" He was awaiting explanations. He was expecting them to be thoroughly detailed, too.

It wasn't hard to understand. No, it was quite easy. The way this man explained made it seem as if it weren't hard. It had almost convinced Junichi that he could do it on his own. Almost

His heart had almost skipped a beat when he realized the man was no longer in front of him. His fists clenched tightly. So this was the difference between him and this unknown enigma. "How much does it cost?" The male's eye lids closed slightly as if it were an attempt to calm himself down. "And.. would it be possible to be taught how to do... tricks?"

He nodded. He was ready to be tuned. "Do I need to take off my ATs?" It was a dumb question, yes. In his mind he had to be sure. Thoughts delved in to his mind. He began to formulate a reply to the enigma actually creating a team.

He tried to speak once more. He couldn't even formulate a proper response. Was it because of the fact he felt intimidated by the man? Yes.. that had to be it. He felt his fist's grip tighten. He hadn't even realized he had even made a fist with his hands. "...If..." He stopped himself for a moment.. No.. I mustn't be intimidated.. I can't run.. "If you were to create a team.. I would join.. I would be a mockery, but I'd try my hardest to become one of the best.. for myself."

He breathed a heavy sigh. He had finally gotten it out. The male's heart was beating rather quickly. It was because a surge of adrenaline. Perhaps there was a hint of fear also; fear of rejection.

Junichi nodded. He hadn't expected that the ATs needed to be tuned. How could he have been so ignorant? He had stopped fidgeting with his body by the time the man had yelled at him to stay still. The teenager didn't speak for the rest of the time the man tuned his ATs. He was too nervous.

Once he had been given back his ATs he placed them on. They didn't feel any different. He'd have to put them to the test later. He felt quite odd. He didn't even know his style. "My.. style?" It was obvious he didn't know anything. How ever.. he did know he liked to go fast. He wanted to be faster than anybody.. Perhaps speed was what he was accustomed to.. Then again, he enjoyed doing other things such as being in the air. He also wanted to be intimidating.. Not so much that, though. How ever, for now, he wanted to be the fastest person..

Junichi understood the concept. If he moved himself fluently he would not go under such an annoying task of slamming his feet. If he motioned his feet in a silent, smooth, and fluent movement he would be guarenteed(sp?) to go faster than he normally would.

"I want to ride.." He paused. Just where did he want to ride? A thought came to his mind. "I want to ride in both the skies and the ground." He looked down at his ATs. He still didn't notice any differences. "My name is Junichi..." He didn't quite understand why the older person, if he was older, didn't reveal his name. He digressed, though.

Junichi's eyes widen with a slight hint of shock. He then resumed to chuckle lightly to himself. "Sorry, never seen you before. I would say heard, but I ain't got your name." His chuckle slowly died.

He would then motion his body forward with smooth pushes. He could tell that he was going faster with each push, but he didn't know the limits of the ATs. That would probably cause him to go 'too' fast.. But then again, in his own mind, nothing was too fast. He would move in a circle, going faster than he had when he was riding the ATs just from the gentle pushes, and motion his body around. Well, due to the lack of experience his body lost its balance in the weight distribution and he fell on to his side. It didn't hurt much since it was a rather... moderate.. speed for these ATs, but it did give him road rash.

He nodded. He wouldn't dare speak back to the man. It wasn't that he didn't understand it, but because if he were to smart mouth back the man wouldn't bother with him. Placing his hands on the cement, he closed his eyes. Nothing's standing in my way now.. He looked up. His eyes became sharp in looks as if they were focused. Within seconds he was now back on his wheels.

He began to make smooth pushes once more. His speed rapidly increased. His adrenaline was pumping. His heart was racing. He couldn't stop now; not when he's like this. He approached the school's building walls. As if it were within miliseconds, his entire body leaned in with his feet. It looked as if he were leaning in too much, but it would make due. His feet came to a hault when he had turned. It was only one successful turn which would possibly turn in to many in the future.

Junichi shuddered. He would have to skate up things? "...But.. shouldn't I stop from something a bit.. small?" His fear was getting the best of him. He was hesitating and he was slowly, but surely, starting to hate himself for it. He didn't dare want to move. It was as if he had lost his motivation that he had from before and casted it aside, leaving him without the slightest hint of dignity.
